First National Partners With Trade Me Property
First National Real Estate has entered into a partnership to market all of its 4000 properties through Trade Me
Property, New Zealand’s most visited real estate website.
“First National works as a community of like minded people so connecting with an online community like Trade Me is a
good fit for us,” said Garry Mason, chief executive of First National Real Estate.
“In a single move this has allowed us to put our clients’ properties on the most visited website in New Zealand.”
First National has 105 offices throughout New Zealand, from Kaitaia to Invercargill. They also operate a referral
network, through Australia, the South Pacific, United States and Canada. Mr Mason announced the partnership at First
National’s annual conference yesterday in Rotorua.
“Being on a site with a global profile fits well with our international referral program, by increasing the ability for
offshore buyers to access our listings.”
Trade Me general manager Sam Morgan said he was delighted to be partnering with First National.
“Having another major real estate brand like First National join the Trade Me family is a boon for our 1.2 million
members,” said Mr Morgan.
“First National is also a home grown success story which we feel a lot of empathy with.”
The First National deal will see property listings on Trade Me pass the 21,000 mark, just 10 months after launch. First
National’s listings went live on Trade Me today.
The lastest Nielsen//Netrating figures show that Trade Me Property is the most visited real estate site in New Zealand
with over 320,000 unique viewers in April – more than twice the traffic of any other site.
