Taumarunui Enterprise Inc launches new website.
Taumarunui Enterprise Inc (TEI) has completed the purchase of www.taumarunui.co.nz . The site will gradually replace their popular www.middle-of-everywhere.co.nz site and provide a major e-portal, that is a way to get information about Taumarunui on the internet.
It provides a business directory and the site also includes maps of the area, listings of services, a news feed, weather and travel information.
The TEI is a voluntary group representing over 100 local businesses. Each company is listed with it’s own web page and links to phone, email and web sites.
The TEI website provides a low cost point of entry for smaller to mid-sized firms to get listed on the worlds major search engines.
Membership of the TEI is open to all companies, traders, firms and individuals in the Taumarunui area. As well as the web page listing they provide direct representation to the Ruapehu District Council and other official bodies. The executive meet monthly and the meetings are open to the public.
“We welcome this new website as a major step forward to place Taumarunui firmly on the global internet map” says Craig Russell, Chair of the TEI. “For a minimal outlay we can now all have a presence on one of the most powerful marketing mediums available to us.”
