A Familiar Voice For Nine to Noon Listeners
National Radio audiences will hear a familiar voice on Nine to Noon next week.
Eva Radich will host the flagship current affairs programme while Radio New Zealand seeks a successor to replace Linda Clark who steps down as presenter of the high profile show on Friday 3rd March.
Linda Clark has hosted Nine to Noon since July 2002 and announced earlier this year that she would be leaving broadcasting to pursue new career options.
Eva Radich, an experienced National Radio journalist and presenter, has fronted Nine to Noon on many occasions in the past and has been a regular presence on Radio New Zealand’s top rating news programmes Morning Report and Checkpoint.
The Research International All New Zealand Radio Survey 2005 gives Nine to Noon a cume audience of 238,800 listeners making it one of the top rating radio programmes in the country. In addition many other people in New Zealand and overseas now access the programme via internet based audio on demand and live streaming services recently introduced on the Rradio New Zealand website www.radionz.co.nz.
