HR and payroll software company PayGlobal has appointed Melissa Clark-Reynolds as its new chief executive.
Ms Clark-Reynolds is well known in New Zealand business circles for setting up a health and safety and ACC consultancy, which grew over seven years to become part of Fusion, New Zealand's largest private ACC insurer. PayGlobal Chairman and acting CEO, Greg Lancaster, says Ms Clark-Reynolds has the skills and experience to accelerate PayGlobal's growth.
"I'm very pleased to announce this appointment. Melissa is an admired business leader with a solid background in international business and a breadth of experience in both the HR and software sectors.
"Importantly, Melissa is someone who has delivered results, including building and selling her own very successful consultancy business and overseeing strong revenue growth at INTAZ. I am confident she will continue to deliver results for PayGlobal."
Ms Clark-Reynolds says she is looking forward to heading an "Australasian success story."
"PayGlobal is the market leader in people management in New Zealand and is growing very quickly in Australia, particularly in the health, retail, and services sectors.

"It is an exciting time for the software industry, as Service Oriented Architecture and web enablement mean that more and more businesses are able to use new technologies to make their companies more efficient. Human resources software is essential - everyone needs to get paid!
"I have long admired the vision of PayGlobal, and have been impressed by its ability to get traction in the Australian market. I think there is a real opportunity to compete against the multinational players with a local product." PayGlobal has doubled its staff numbers in Australia in the past year and is planning a similar increase in the next 12 months.
Ms Reynolds-Clark will take up her new appointment in late February.
