Wellington – 16 November 2005 – LAWFUEL – The Law News Network – New York US Attorney Eliot Spitzer’s office has
extended its news release network to Wellington-based, international law news network LawFuel (www.lawfuel.com)
The LawFuel website, a legal news site that handles many US law news, has become one of the largest pure-law news sites
on the Internet.
Founded in 2001 by Wellingtonian John Bowie, the site now handles news releases from many of the largest law firms in
the world, the Securities and Exchange Commission, numerous US Attorneys offices, the US Department of Justice and many
others who use the site as a ‘site of record’ for their law news. The site is ‘spidered’ by Google News with news
entering Google News’ pages, which makes it one of the largest online news sites on the Web.
“We get new clients most weeks and the expansion into various arms of Government in the US is something that’s happened
through our exposure on the Web, particularly Google News,” said Bowie.
The LawFuel site, about to be enhanced with a new look, has attracted a large online audience and enjoys a strategic
relationship with major online news release organization PRWebDirect.
