Barfoot & Thompson Colouring Competition Winners Announced
The winners of this year’s Barfoot & Thompson Gingerbread House colouring competition have been chosen from hundreds of colourful entries.
The entries from Olivia Horne (7) of Clarks Beach and Aaron Yong (11) of Glendowie have been selected and their prize is to ride on the Barfoot & Thompson Gingerbread House float in this year’s Santa Parade on Sunday the 27th of November at 2pm.
The two winners will ride on the float in costume; accompanied by 20 Barfoot & Thompson staff decked out as blue, red and yellow ‘Magic of Reading’ houses. The walking houses which precede the float were a new addition to the parade last year to mark the company’s sponsorship of the Magic of Reading programme at Starship children’s hospital.
This is the third year in a row that Barfoot & Thompson has supported Auckland’s annual Farmers Santa Parade.
