Global Ambassador in New Zealand to Shake And Stir Up the Locals.
Bombay Sapphire’s Jamie Walker in Auckland and Wellington 7/8th November.
Jamie Walker has been shaking and stirring up cocktails, and people’s perceptions of them, for the duration of his adult life.
Jamie has acted as a bar consultant for a number of high profile functions, from a typically lavish birthday party for Elton John to the equally extravagant wedding of David and Victoria Beckham.
He has also run several of London’s top cocktail bars -- including Circus, Opium, and Alphabet -- and as a consultant has trained hundreds of bar staff including those at the Lab Bar, 10 Room, the Sanderson, Atlantic, Detroit, Amber and 23 Romily Street.
Author of acclaimed cocktail guide, “Sapphire and Ice” Jamie’s personal cocktail of choice is constantly changing and evolving as he explores new flavour combinations. Current favourites include a fresh apple and ginger martini and a pear and elderflower Collins, but there’s one which will always be high on his list: the Bombay Sapphire classic martini cocktail with a twist.
