Better by Design appoints Desiree Keown
Better by Design has appointed Desiree Keown to the position of Marketing & Communications Manager, based within the Wellington office of New Zealand Trade and Enterprise.
Better by Design is a joint industry and government initiative to help New Zealand companies make world class design a
bigger differentiator for their products and services in export markets.
Following on from the very successful Better by Design conference in late March, marketing activities will be stepped up
to keep New Zealand business and design communities engaged in the initiative, and encourage participation in the
various programmes and projects associated with it.
Ms Keown has 20 years in marketing and communications, most recently as GM Marketing for technology company, Synergy
International Ltd. Her most high profile role was managing the Land Transport Safety Authority's award-winning road
safety campaign from 2000-2002.
