FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Prime's First Local Drama Series Premieres
Prime Television is pleased to announce the premiere of its first local drama series, Interrogation, on Wednesday 31st
August at 8:30pm
This 13-part crime drama is produced by South Pacific Pictures with New Zealand On Air support.
Interrogation explores the emotional impact crime has on its victims and on the police themselves. As with real life
crime, most of the drama is found in the tense, claustrophobic environment of the police station. Interrogation shows
that crime can be solved and justice served, although, as in life, there is not always a happy ending.
Starring Luanne Gordon as Detective Sergeant Angela Darley; Scott Wills as Detective Constable Terry Skinner; Jay Bunyan
as Police Constable Dean Salmon; Miriama McDowell as Police Constable Awhina James; John Leigh as Watchhouse Sergeant
Phil Worth; Brian Sagala as Public Counter Sergeant Arthur Teleafava; and Peter Elliott as Detective Senior Sergeant
Hamish Boyd.
Interrogation will feature guest appearances from some of New Zealand's best actors including Joel Tobeck, Ian Hughes,
Jennifer Ward-Lealand, Ben Barrington, Tim Balme, Antony Starr, Andrew Robertt, Antonia Prebble, and Claire Chitham.
With some of New Zealand's best writing and acting talent behind Interrogation, the series promises to be crime drama at
its finest.
Interrogation Premieres on Prime at 8:30pm on Wednesday 31 August
