DTZ secures property management contract from Vodafone New Zealand
Global telecommunications heavyweight Vodafone has appointed DTZ New Zealand to manage its real estate interests in NZ.
The appointment took effect from 1 June 2005 and includes the lease and financial administration of the existing national portfolios, comprising 14 commercial offices and over 1200 radio base stations.
Alan Roskruge, DTZ's Auckland Manager comments; "Being appointed to provide such a complete property management service to Vodafone on a national scale is a testament to the expertise and experience within the DTZ property management team. It is also a reflection of the close working relationship DTZ has developed with Vodafone over a number of years in providing both network site acquisition and other professional property services. This was beneficial in understanding Vodafone as a partner and its culture, as well as building up trust with individual personnel within Vodafone with whom we will deal on a day by day basis."
Andrew Potter, DTZ's Commercial Property Manager in Auckland, who will be responsible for the day to day management of the contract, went on to comment, "Such an appointment reflects the continued strengthening of DTZ in the property management field, and recognition of this by clients such as Vodafone."
The contract is based on an initial term of three years with a right of renewal for an additional three years.
