The New Cool Seminars
The Dowse is proud to present three free seminars in conjunction with its
current exhibition, The New Cool, celebrating creative entrepreneurial business. This is an awesome opportunity for people to meet the directors of the companies featured in the exhibition, creators of some of Aotearoa’s favourite brands.
The seminars will focus on the inspiring company stories, the highs and lows,
the big ideas and small beginnings and what it means to be young, creative and in business.
“A key part of The New Cool’s success has been the opportunity to build really powerful partnerships in the public and private sectors – around the potential of the creative economy”, says Director of The Dowse, Tim Walker. “The whole project is built on a foundation of support from Westpac and New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, through their Enterprise Culture and Skills Activity fund. That has allowed us to work with Positively Wellington Business and WelTec to make these seminars and workshop available”.
