Radio Agency launches webcast service
Radio Agency, New Zealand’s leading independent radio advertising and audio creative service, has launched Webcom™, a new in house webcasting service. Webcom™ provides a facility for clients to run radio shows that can then be hosted on either their own website or on a soon-to-be-launched web radio service provided by the Radio Agency.
“Money Managers has just released the first of its weekly “Money Show Online” webcasts, which makes them the first financial investment advisory company in the country to provide listeners with this type of service” say Radio Agency’s Director, Anthony Hurst.
Money Managers is New Zealand’s largest investment advisory company with two billion dollars under management.
“They have always been innovators and are very enthusiastic about the opportunity a webcast provides to clearly communicate their industry and services”, says Hurst.
“Blog sites are all the go – well, this is a step up with a webcast or podcast, providing people with the opportunity to log on and listen when it suits – and with ipods becoming more popular – people can download the show and listen to it at their leisure”.
Hurst points out, “this is very much a complementary service to our radio advertising as it takes an audio market and channels them to a facility that provides a more in-depth presentation of a client’s business, and best of all, it’s becoming more portable just like radio.”
“We’ve had an excellent response but it’s pretty embarrassing because our website has been a bit neglected with the work we’ve been doing in the studio – but we’ll fix that next!”
Money Managers’ Communication Coordinator, Shannon Lovell says, “Webcom™ allows us to fully communicate with our clients and prospects on a regular basis in a cost effective way, keeping our brand values front-of-mind with those who matter most. We use it to educate prospects as well as to keep clients informed. The Money Show is entertaining, interactive and users can listen to it in their own time so the advantages over other media were obvious to us.”
