Brand New Colours for New Zealand’s Leading Courier Company
Express Couriers Limited, a joint venture between New Zealand Post and DHL today unveiled a new look for the courier brands of CourierPost, Pace and logistics management company, Contract Logistics.
The innovative look, which brings together the immediately recognisable brands of DHL and New Zealand Post will see over 750 formerly red vans, 40 trucks, three motorbikes, 16 bicycles and over 800 uniformed couriers, turn yellow and red.
Jim Quinn, Chief Executive Officer, Express Couriers Limited said the new look represented a turning point for the business as it began its new life under the parenthood of New Zealand Post and DHL.
"In January we commenced a new phase of the Express courier business in New Zealand; today we launch the face of it. The common theme of yellow and red will be visible in everything we are, from our trucks to our vans and cars, to the uniforms our couriers wear to the products our customers use.”
“For our customers we have retained the business brand names that they are used to, but the new look acknowledges the two families we are part of now as a result of the joint venture.”
"I believe it will provide a stronger sense of identity and for our 2,000 people throughout the country, who deliver services day in, day out to our 27,000 customers from Kaitaia to Bluff," said Mr Quinn.
The new colours will be introduced at the company’s branches throughout the country and on stationary, products and all courier vehicles from today.
The 2500 polo shirts, 900 pairs of shorts, 900 vests, 900 polar fleeces and 900 trackpants required to kit out almost 1,000 couriers were designed by Jakal Corporate Apparel.
The new brand was designed by Communication Arts Limited.
