Velocity Global Strengthens Pre-Sales Supports with the Appointment of David Wills
NEW ZEALAND – May 19, 2005 – Velocity Global, a total information and communication business solutions provider, has
appointed David Wills as a consultant.
In this role, David acts as pre-sales support, liaising between the sales and implementation team for Velocity Global.
He is responsible for qualifying the business needs of prospective clients and determining their software functionality
and service requirements prior to a sale. David is also involved in demonstrating the functionality of Velocity Global
solutions and services to clients and on completion of the sale working with the implementation team.
David has 20 years of expertise in the supply chain, enterprise resource planning and financials sectors, across small
and medium enterprises in the UK, Australia and New Zealand. More recently he has been responsible for the design and
implementation of a new data warehouse system for a major New Zealand port. Other roles David has held include,
solutions architect for New Zealand Dairy Foods, solution architect for Carter Holt Harvey, technology auditor for CDM
and systems consultant, Austrim.
Originally from the U.K, David was recruited in 1997 to come to New Zealand to lead an implementation for a major
Australasian chemicals company.
David holds an MBA from Bolton University and has studied manufacturing systems and operations management to a Masters
Level. He is an Associate Member of the UK Institute of Electrical and Electronic Incorporated Engineers.
