He has a Harley Davison most petrolheads would die for and a fleet of fast cars, so what do you get for the man who has
everything?
In the case of Auckland Mayor, John Banks, organisers of this year’s Auckland Home Show chose a shiny new 1.5 tonne
Kubota digger.
And after a quick instruction from Hirepool Business Relationship Manager Kingi Pikaahu, Mayor Banks drove the digger
with all the aplomb of a site foreman through the banner strung across the front of the Auckland Showgrounds today to
officially open the Home Show.
And then he was off – in something more fitting his style…
