Pumpkin Patch Limited Completion of Book Build and Pricing Process
Pumpkin Patch Limited is pleased to announce that its initial public offer closed on Friday 4 June 2004 following the
successful completion of its retail offer and institutional book build. The book build process, which was undertaken
between Wednesday 2 June and Friday 4 June 2004, involved the participation of New Zealand and international
institutional investors.
The book build followed a three week offer period that was characterised by strong retail and broker support.
Pumpkin Patch would like to advise that the price per share has been set at $1.25 per share which was within the
indicative book build range of $1.20 to $1.40 per share. A value of $1.25 per share gives Pumpkin Patch an implied
market capitalisation of approximately $208 million, making it one of the 40 largest New Zealand companies by market
capitalization listed on the NZX.
Quotation of Pumpkin Patch shares on the New Zealand Exchange (“NZX”) is expected to commence on Wednesday 9 June 2004
on a delayed delivery basis. Shares are expected to trade on a delayed delivery basis until close Wednesday 15 June
2004. A delayed commencement to first day trading in Pumpkin Patch shares has been requested with an open scheduled for
11:00am Wednesday 9 June 2004. Goldman Sachs JBWere (NZ) Limited acted as Lead Manager for the offer.
