Restaurant Brands takeover notice withdrawn at Takeovers Panel’s request
King Win Laurel International Limited (King Win) issued a takeover notice on Friday 14 May 2004 relating to a prospective offer for Restaurant Brands New Zealand Limited.
The notice was sent to the Takeovers Panel on 14 May.
The takeovers notice did not comply with the Code in a number of aspects.
The Panel wrote to King Win on 14 May asking that the notice be withdrawn. Following discussions between King Win and the Panel, King Win has today withdrawn its notice.
