Flood Relief Trust Account exceeds $250,000

Funds donated to Feilding and District Relief Trust Account exceeds quarter of a million dollars
Donations to the Feilding and District Relief Trust Account, following the floods in the central and lower North Island, have passed the $250,000 mark. The total sum donated is now $255,233.
The funds will be distributed by a committee set up by the Manawatu District Council.
Bank of New Zealand contributed $25,000 to the trust immediately after the account was opened. The balance has been donated by members of the public.
Deposits can be made at any Bank of New Zealand branch.
