Pumpkin Patch Appoints Greg Muir Executive Chairman
Pumpkin Patch, New Zealand’s leading children’s wear retailer, has appointed Greg Muir as its executive chairman.
Muir, a former chief executive of The Warehouse, joins Pumpkin Patch in the New Year to further the company’s expanding international business in Ireland, the US and Middle East.
Pumpkin Patch chief executive Maurice Prendergast will continue running the company on a day-to-day basis with a focus on existing operations in New Zealand, Australia and the UK.
In addition, Pumpkin Patch has appointed investment house Goldman Sachs JBWere as advisors as the company looks at ownership options.
Established in 1991, Pumpkin Patch has developed into an international multi-channel success. From a single store in Auckland, Pumpkin Patch now has more than 100 specialty retail locations throughout New Zealand, Australia and the UK, with selected ranges also available in select department stores.
