"Grate" New Advertising From Laminex
Laminex continues to push the boundaries of benchtop surfacing with a new advertising campaign that takes inspiration
literally from nature. In a break from traditional advertising, the new Laminex executions do not actually feature
pictures of benchtops.
Instead, a simple "frame" device is placed on top of a real life scene and photographed. The first ad in the series
shows a picture of a ventilation grate, reminiscent of the Laminex innovations "Wenge Rondo" surface. Other ads in the
series include a close-up of a pebble beach. The ad copy simply says "inspiration can come from anywhere".
Lianne Ning, The Laminex Group category manager - decorative surfaces, says the new advertising reinforces the
innovative philosophy of The Laminex Group. "We are in the business of looking at things differently - and we thought it
was time to take a fresh approach to the way decorative surfaces are advertised," Ning says.
The Laminex brand is divided into two ranges of high pressure laminates according to design usage.
