Update on Local Loop and Public Data Network Unbundling
The Commerce Commission today released material on the use of the model underlying the Cost Benefit Analysis in the Commission’s Draft Report on Unbundling of the Local Loop and Fixed Public Data Network.
The Commission has provided this information in response to requests from interested parties for clarification.
The material includes adjustments to the figures reported in the Commission’s Draft Report. While the adjustments reduce some of the benefits reported, the net benefits remain substantially positive.
The revisions to the draft determination are set out in a separate document which is available on the Commission’s website, http://www.comcom.govt.nz/telecommunications/localloop.cfm.
Submissions on the draft Report are due on Friday 16 October 2003, for consideration at a conference on 28-31 October 2003.
