Launch yourself with Federated Farmers
Federated Farmers of New Zealand (Inc) is promoting their new website http://www.fedfarm.org.nz at the Mystery Creek field days.
Communicating with members is a vital component of the Federation's business, says Federated Farmers Public Affairs
manager Jo McKenzie.
"Because the Federation's membership is so large and geographically spread the Internet provides a very effective medium
for keeping in touch with our members.
"www.fedfarm.org.nz is a two-way communications tool. Members have access to a secure section, which protects the value
of the Federation's exclusive membership services, and keeps them up to date on issues impacting on their business. As a
membership driven organisation www.fedfarm.org.nz also provides the ability to gauge member's opinions through online
surveys, polling and a discussion board.
'In designing www.fedfarm.org.nz we were very mindful of the download limitations many rural internet users face. The
result is a low graphic site which is very user friendly."
