Electricity Demand Update
Total electricity demand for the 24 hours ended midnight yesterday (Tuesday 1 May) was 98.6 GWh, down from the 100.0 GWh used on average at the same time last year.
Conservation efforts by householders and small to medium businesses accounted for savings of around 3.2% - a very slight improvement on yesterday's figures. Demand continues to be reduced some larger industrial users are still cutting back.
