Fonterra corrects reporting on farm sale

FONTERRA CORRECTS MISREPORTING ON PROPOSED DAIRY FARM SALE
Over the last two days a series of items have appeared in the media suggesting that Fonterra has supported a submission to the Overseas Investment Commission objecting to the sale of a dairy farm in Coromandel to a logging company.
Fonterra wish to make it clear that it has had no correspondence with the Overseas Investment Commission or the media on this issue and that it has, at no point, taken a position on what impact any possible sale would have on the pick-up of milk in the region.
