ElderCare Appoints New Director to the Board
Auckland – March 14, 2002 – Listed healthcare provider, ElderCare New Zealand (NZSE: ELD) today announced that it has appointed Dr Clint Teague, managing partner of the recently acquired Medical Laboratory Wellington and Nelson Diagnostic Laboratories, to its board of directors.
Said ElderCare’s CEO and director, Alan Clarke, “We are very pleased with the opportunity to have Dr Teague join the board. He brings a wealth of experience in the pathology industry to the company, and as ElderCare’s growth unfolds we will draw on this medical experience.”
The appointment follows a successful capital raising last year, and the acquisition of the Wellington and Nelson pathology businesses in January 2002.
