PeopleSoft Announces New Director of CRM to Drive Growth
Auckland, 15 June 2001 - PeopleSoft today announced the appointment of Alan Hyde to the role of Director of CRM,
PeopleSoft Australia and New Zealand. The appointment comes a week after PeopleSoft unveiled the world’s first pure
internet CRM solution.
Based in Sydney, Mr Hyde will be responsible for all sales activity for PeopleSoft’s CRM business for ANZ, with the
objective of delivering strong market share growth for the company. PeopleSoft aims to be one of the two leading CRM
vendors by the end of the year.
Commenting on his appointment Mr Hyde said, “There’s never been a more exciting time to join PeopleSoft’s CRM team. We
have a unique industry leading solution for our customers which is already receiving an extremely positive response.”

With over 22 years experience in the IT industry Mr Hyde brings a strong background in developing and leading sales
organisations. Mr Hyde moves back to Australia from PeopleSoft in the United Kingdom, where he was responsible for
leading the Major Accounts organisation. As Director of Strategic Accounts, Mr Hyde’s territory accounted for 65% of the
UK’s revenue. Mr Hyde was responsible for taking new product initiatives to market and building a strong business
amongst the top 100 organisations in the UK including British American Tobacco, Abbey National and Marks & Spencer.
Prior to joining PeopleSoft, Mr Hyde held a number of sales and management positions within leading organisations such
as IBM and SSA.
