There was light trading on the New Zealand Futures & Options Exchange today involving 1435 futures contracts traded with a face value of NZ$717 million.
The Mar-01 90 Day Bank Bill Contract settled down 9 points at 9362 (6.38%). The June-01 90 Day Bank Bill Contract settled down 8 points at 9389 (6.11%) and the Sept-01 90 Day Bank Bill Contract settled down 8 points at 9394 (6.06%). The Dec-01 90 Day Bank Bill Contract settled down 8 points at 9392 (6.08%).
The Mar-01 Three Year Government Stock Futures Contract settled down 13 points at 9409 (5.91%) and the Mar-01 Ten Year Government Stock Futures Contract settled down 12 points at 9388 (6.12%).
The March-01 NZSE-10 Share Index Futures Contract settled up 24 points at 855.
The January -01 Electricity Futures Contract closed at $29.00 M/wh.
