Infinity Completes Acquisition Of Asset Management Company RDT Pacific
Infinity Group chair Patsy Reddy today announced that full-service, fixed asset management company RDT Pacific had become a wholly owned subsidiary.
Infinity Group's offer for the remaining 49.5% of RDT Pacific's shares had been accepted by RDT shareholders in exchange for shares in Infinity Group.
Ms Reddy said that full ownership of RDT Pacific was a further step in the Group's integration as a full service business enablement provider.
The company's depth of experience in fixed asset management in New Zealand and the Pacific, its strong revenue streams and its specialist service capability bring significant depth to Infinity's business enablement focus."
Since it was established in 1943, RDT Pacific has handled more than $10 billion of assets for its clients. Its 60 staff, based throughout New Zealand and Australia, provide clients with fixed asset planning, development, operation, and divestment services.
RDT Pacific is part of the Infinity Solutions business stream, which was formally launched this month after combining IT companies Comtex, Madison and Trilogy. RDT Pacific will remain a separate company trading under its own name with its own board.
"One of the keys to implementing an efficient asset management strategy in business today is being able to offer a "bricks and clicks" solution. Together, RDT Pacific and Infinity Solutions provide a strong base from which such a service can be implemented effectively," Ms Reddy said.
RDT Pacific General Manager - Operations, Greg Lowe said becoming a fully-fledged Infinity Group company was an exciting move.
"With the backing of the Group we are now part of a significant organisation. Being part of Infinity opens up new opportunities for us here and in Australia."
The RDT Pacific acquisition brings to eleven the number of companies partly or fully acquired by Infinity Group since it was launched in May.
