Quicksilver Internet, New Zealands first ISP to have offered unlimited Internet access for only $24.95, have cut their
prices to $19.95 with no catches!! There are no set-up fees, no long term contracts and you still get all the great
benefits.
In the highly competitive ISP market Quicksilver is the first to break the $20 mark without the catches others have
offered. There are no connection fees applicable and you don't have to sign a long-term contract or pay upfront for a
year connection.
Quicksilver has been around since January 2000 and had been offering unlimited access for only $24.95 since then.
The Neon account, which includes 10MB free static web hosting, free helpdesk support and unlimited access with no
maximum connect times has been reduced from $24.95 to $19.95 including GST.
Existing customers should see the reduction in the next bill from Quicksilver. New customers get to take advantage of
Quicksilver's special, which offers the first month for only $10 and then go onto the $19.95 pricing for the Neon plan.
When asked if the lower price meant lower service for their customers, Quicksilver Managing Director Matthew Hobbs
replied "Absolutely not. In fact it's quite the opposite. Being a smaller player in the market means we can't afford to
make mistakes or provide bad service. Each and every customer is important to us and we strive to make his or her
Quicksilver experience an enjoyable one. Perhaps some of the larger companies can afford to lose a few customers but
Quicksilver aims at keeping them all."
Quicksilver other accounts, Argon and Krypton, which offer more email addresses and larger amounts of free web hosting
which have also come down in price in line with the Neon account. Both residential and business customers are able to
take advantage of these prices.
Quicksilver are also a Direct Dial Toll provider and are offering 10% discount off the toll accounts of all users who
sign up to both Internet and tolls. "Loyalty in customers should be rewarded. We already have a lot of customers who use
