REAL WEEKLY publishes property prices and addresses
- takes secrecy out of real estate advertising
The first edition of REAL WEEKLY, the publication carrying photographs and details of all REAL listings around the country, appears tomorrow (Friday 21 July) in all REAL Ltd branches and offices of REAL lawyers around the country.
Differing significantly from other real estate publications, REAL WEEKLY carries the actual street addresses of the more than 140 properties listed on the North Shore, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Taupo, Whakatane and Christchurch.
"This takes away any secrecy by enabling prospective buyers to get in their cars and actually go and have a look at houses that look particularly appealing," says REAL WEEKLY editor, Maggie Blake. "Then, if they want to take a closer look all they have to do is contact a REAL agent."
Another original feature is the Recent Houses Sold section in which the prices and street addresses of recently sold houses are listed, again aimed at taking away much of the uncertainty involved in shopping for real estate.
"The prices attached to the properties published in REAL WEEKLY, like the prices of all REAL properties, have been based on an assessment by independent certified valuers," explains Maggie Blake.
"So buyers need no longer worry that a particular house carries an over-inflated value dreamed up by an agent in order to secure sole selling rights. By reading REAL WEEKLY on a regular basis, a person will get a good idea of where their home belongs in the scheme of things."
REAL WEEKLY also features free legal advice by REAL lawyers about legal issues involving real estate and property matters, and provides the names and addresses of all REAL law firms and REAL Ltd branches throughout the country.
Some 40,000 free copies of REAL WEEKLY will be available each Friday from all REAL firms; REAL Ltd branches, and by calling 0800 GET REAL.
