Arrest Made In Lien Nguyen Homicide

An arrest has been made relating to the death of a south Auckland women from last year.
Lien Nguyen, 35, a money lender, was found strangled in her home in Mangere in May last year.
A 39-year-old man was today arrested and charged with Lien Nguyen's death.
Papakura based detective senior sergeant, Alan Shearer, says the investigation was slow to bring an arrest result because of difficulties working with the Vietnamese community, many of whom speak English as a second language.
No one else is being sought in relation to the homicide.
