landslip on Hutt Road, south of Ngauranga - delays likely

Published: Fri 8 Mar 2019 04:24 PM
A landslip has come down on to the Hutt Road between the Onslow Road intersection and the Ngauranga Gorge in Wellington in the past hour. The roadway is down to one lane northbound – so motorists will likely experience delays during this evening’s rush hour. Contractors are on the way to clear the slip.
A number of slips have come down on roads around Wellington City following today’s heavy rain. Motorists and cyclists are urged to take extra care.
