Waikato Police arrest woman for stealing medication

Waikato Police have arrested a woman who has allegedly been stealing medication from elderly people across the region.
Victims have advised that the woman claimed to be from the Waikato DHB in order to gain entry to their homes.
Victims, some of whom reside in retirement villages, then discovered their medication missing.
The woman has been charged with burglary and is due to appear in Hamilton District Court on Friday 15 February.
Further charges are likely.
Police would like to hear from anyone who believes they may have fallen victim to this type of offending, but has not yet spoken to us.
