Further charge laid after Hastings assault

Detective Inspector Mike Foster:
A further charge has been laid in relation to the assault which occured on Maraekakaho Road in Hastings last night.
A 19-year-old woman has been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
She is due to appear in Hastings District Court on 15 February.
The victim remains in Hawke's Bay Hospital in a critical condition.
