UPDATE: Brynderwyn Hills crash

Published: Wed 22 Aug 2018 08:33 AM
SH 1 on the Brynderwyn Hills will be blocked in both directions for the next couple of hours following a crash this morning.
A car and truck collided shortly after 6:30am.
The road will remain closed while heavy towing equipment is brought in to remove the vehicles.
Two people had minor injuries and were taken to Whangarei Hospital for treatment.
Motorists are asked to delay their travel if possible, and take the Kaiwaka-Mangawhai road as a diversion if necessary.
