Information sought following Horowhenua burglaries

Police are appealing for information following burglaries at two rural properties in Shannon last week.
A number of power tools, sprayed with green paint, and two firearms were stolen from a farm workshop on Mangahao Road late on Wednesday 8 August or in the early hours of Thursday 9 August.
The same night, a red quad bike was stolen from a farm on Brown Street.
“The quad bike and firearms are all very distinctive.
Anyone who may have seen or been offered these items is urged to get in touch,” Detective Sergeant Karen Heald says.
