Motorist dies after colliding with another vehicle - Turangi

The driver of one vehicle in the crash at Turangi this morning has died.
The driver of the other vehicle received no injuries.
The man in his 70s died after his car and another collided on the bridge north of Turangi on SH1 this morning.
The road remains partially closed around the crash scene, while the Serious Crash Unit are investigating.
There are stop-go signs at the scene, so traffic travelling north and south should expect delays.
No details regarding the deceased will be released until formal identification has taken place and next of kin have been notified.
