"Liquor stolen from Levin Thirsty Liquor "

At around 9.15pm last night, three males approached the Thirsty Liquor store in Levin.
Two men entered - one carrying a knife and one carrying a hammer.
They stole alcohol (spirits) from the store and ran from the shop towards the cricket ground across the road.
No threats were made to the staff and no one was injured in the incident.
Police are carrying out a scene investigation today.
Anyone who may have seen people acting suspiciously around the Thirsty Liquor last night before or after the robbery time, are asked to contact police.

This robbery and the one in Palmerston North at the Top Cook Dairy and Takeaways are being investigated separately.
At this stage they are not thought to be related.
