Brief phone outage to affect some West Coast DHB facilities
There will be a short telephone outage at several West Coast District Health Board facilities overnight on Thursday 19 July.
The outage is to allow for the next stage of work to implement our new telephone system and will affect health facilities in Buller, Reefton, and Greymouth for approximately 2 hours from 11:30pm Thursday.
Incoming external calls for Buller and Reefton will be diverted to an after-hours answering service that will direct calls appropriately. Call coming into Grey Base will be answered by our receptionist and dealt with accordingly. If the person calling can’t get through the first time they call, we are asking they please be patient and call again after a short wait.
If it is an emergency, people should dial 111.
For all other health advice after-hours people can call Healthline on 0800 611 116
