Update - crashes in Auckland

Motorists are advised to expect significant delays following a crash at Dairy Flat.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of Dairy Flat Highway and Coatesville-Riverhead Highway at 6.58am.
The crash involved seven vehicles - six cars and one truck.
One person has been described as being in a critical condition and has been taken to hospital.
The road is currently closed.
Diversions are in place.
The Serious Crash Unit and the Commercial Vehicle Safety Team are attending the scene.
Separately, Police were called at 6.02am to a crash involving several vehicles on the Northern Motorway at Dairy Flat.
It’s now been established that there have been no reports of injuries from that multiple vehicle crash.
