"Police name victim of fatal fire - Halswell, Christchurch"
Police are now able to name the woman who died in the fatal house fire in Halswell on Wednesday 5 June 2018.
She was Karen Winnifred Mehlhopt aged 59 years.
Police are completing a routine scene examination to determine the cause of the fire and this is expected to be finished
today.
At this stage there are no suspicious circumstances and the matter will be referred to the Coroner.
