Suspicious fires in Timaru

Timaru Police are investigating a suspicious fire at a property on the corner of Patiti and South streets in Timaru this morning.
Detective Senior Sergeant Richard Quested said Police were called around 5.45am and advised a truck was on fire at the property.
When Fire and Emergency NZ arrived a shed and two trucks were found to be ablaze.
A scene examination is underway.
Anyone that was in the vicinity of Patiti and South streets or Pätiti Point this morning prior to 5.45am is asked to contact Detective Constable Sam Hawker at the Timaru Police Station on Samuel.Hawker@police.govt.nz
