Truck crash blocks 3 lanes on Auckland’s Southern Motorway
The NZ Transport Agency advises motorists that a truck has rolled and is blocking three of four lanes on Auckland’s
Southern Motorway (SH1) just before the Princes St off ramp in Otahuhu.
Heavy haulage trucks are making their way to the crash site but traffic is backing up and it may be some time before the
truck is removed. Some vehicles are getting past the crashed truck in the left hand lane.
Drivers heading south on SH1 are advised to leave the motorway at Mt Wellington and get back on at Princes St on-ramp.
Otherwise please delay your travel or use alternative routes to avoid the area.
