Police investigating robbery in Huntly

Police are investigating an aggravated robbery that occurred in Huntly on Tuesday 20 February.
Around 2:50pm, four armed offenders entered a superette on Hakanoa Street, making off with cigarettes and the till before fleeing towards Bailey Street.
The two shopkeepers in the dairy at the time were not injured but are understandably shaken and being provided with supported.
We know that these types of incidents are traumatising and frightening for shop owners and we take them very seriously.
We are asking that anyone who may have been in the area at the time or has any information contact us on 07 214 5169.
