Police are investigating an aggravated robbery which occurred on Primrose Street, Hamilton on Monday 19th February at
approximately 2.45pm.
The victim, a woman, withdrew a sum of money from an ANZ ATM on Whatawhata Road.
She returned to her car and drove off along Primrose Street but was cut off and forced to pull over off by a
silver-coloured vehicle .
The vehicle is believed to be similar to a Mitsubishi Legnum or Subaru station wagon.
It’s described as being untidy in appearance, with roof racks, and possibly tinted windows.
The vehicle was occupied by two men who looked like they were Maori or Pacific Islanders, aged around 20-years-old.
The front seat passenger, wearing dark coloured clothing, got out of the vehicle and approached the victim at the front
passenger side window and demanded money.
The victim handed over a sum of money and the offender ran off down a driveway on Primrose Street.
The driver of the offending silver vehicle drove off towards Massey Street leaving the victim shaken but not hurt after
her ordeal.
Police are looking for any witnesses to the robbery or information that will assist in identifying the vehicle or its
occupants.
