Constable Laura Blummont:
Hawke’s Bay Police are investigating the theft of $150,000 worth of tractors and gear used by orchardists.
We need the public’s help to solve this crime, and would appreciate any sightings of the items shown in the attached pictures.
The vehicles were taken from a property on Elwood Rd, Tomoana, Hastings over the weekend from Saturday 13 January to Monday 15 January.
These types of tractors are not uncommon in this region, but if you see one and you’re not sure whether to report it, call us anyway and we’ll make the necessary checks.
If anyone tries to sell this gear to you, we’d also like to hear from you.
