"Serious crash in Whanganui"
Police and other emergency services are at the scene of a serious crash in Whanganui where a truck has hit a pedestrian.
The crash happened at the intersection of Hinau Street and Mosston Road in Castlecliff at 11.13am.
The Serious Crash Unit has been called out and the road is closed.
The road closures are:
Hinau and Cross
Mosston and Tongoriro
Hinau and Raupo
Heads and Mosston
