Emergency services are at the scene of a fatal crash near Opotiki.
The crash happened at about 8:50 pm tonight on State Highway 2 at Kutarere, when a car and a truck collided head on. The
driver of the car died at the scene.
No one else was injured. The police serious crash unit is investigating and there will be traffic delays until the scene
is cleared.
