"Significant delays on Hawke's Bay Expressway"
Eastern Police advises motorists intending to travel on the Hawke's Bay Expressway to take alternative routes home.
There have been two crashes, one head-on and another nose-to-tail, on State Highway 50A between the areas of Pakowhai Road and Tutaekuri Bridge.
While traffic is able to pass through slowly, there are significant delays.
Ambulance are on the scene but there are no serious injuries.
