"Invercargill Police appeal for information on crash"
Invercargill Police are appealing for information about a crash at the intersection of Crinan Street and Elles Road at approximately 9:30am today.
A driver in a dark grey, older model Japanese two door hatchback car, was travelling east on Crinan Street when they went through a give way sign at the intersection, colliding with a vehicle travelling south on Elles Road.
The driver of the offending dark grey vehicle did not stop after the crash and drove off at speed from the scene.
There was one other person in the vehicle with them.
No one was injured in the crash.
We need to locate the offending driver and hope you can assist us to do so.
If you witnessed the crash or have any information about a vehicle fitting this description which has obtained damage and has a registration starting with ‘WW1’ we’d like to hear from you.
